I have been working as an Intern Security Engineer at AZ Sint-Jan Brugge AV for a month now. This experience has taught me a lot about how security works in a hospital setting. Here it is very important to protect information and make sure systems are working properly. During my time at the hospital I have used many DFIR (Digital Forensics and Incident Response) tools. I made a way for the hospital to safely analyze files and determine if it is malicious or not. It is really interesting to work in a hospital because cybersecurity is crucial for the services that people use every day. I have seen how good security practices protect the hospitals systems and private healthcare information. My experience as an Intern Security Engineer has helped me improve my technical skills in digital forensics incident response and security operations. I have learned from people in the field of cybersecurity. I am thankful, for this opportunity. I am excited to keep learning and growing in the field of cybersecurity.
